I just recently picked up the Tab S2 and its freaking awesome! I really like the features and abilities it supplies me with over the iPad! I was going through some reviews before the purchase and some users (well most) expressed poor battery life..... I have no idea what they are speaking about as I have had an amazinf experience with the battery! Check out my screen shots!

The biggest issues was on screen time not surpassing 4 hours, as you can see it has on the pics attached, I also have 41% remaining.

If you are thinking of purchasing this tablet I suggest you get it from Best Buy or some box store with a return policy. Try it out and you'll see what experience I am speaking about! Its great!

I alos purchase a bluetooth keyboard with the tablet and I am very impressed with it! The short cuts and programed keys are perfect and make sense!

Thanks for my babble, thought I would just put it out there!

It depends on what people do wit the device. If they play games on it, then the screen time won't make 4 hours. If you just use it to read books and surf the web, you will probably get a lot more than 4 hours.

I was concerned with battery life before getting mine but I get better battery life with the Tab S2 than I did my Note 10.1

I had 10% battery drain in 12 hours today with light usage. I have Bluetooth and lte turned off while at work as I just use WiFi but even with heavier usage I'm getting 60% left after a day of work so I can't complain. Overall I'm very impressed with it coming from a former diehard Windows fanboy. I honestly don't know if I need a Surface 4 now. The Surface book though lol...

I find in many Android devices WiFi is a massive battery hog, even though it doesn't show in the battery usage. I've tested battery usage between cellular and WiFi, I definitely had better life with cellular. You could turn "WiFi always scanning" off within the WiFi settings under "more". People have reported better battery life with this option disabled.

I'm glad to see its not as bad as predicted as I've a Tab S2 8.0 being delivered tomorrow, previously owned a Tab S 10.5 and liked it but holding and reading in Portrait mode was clumbersome!

Then moved to a Nexus 9 and liked it but the build quality was poor and it bricked updating OTA update! so this brings me to the Tab S 8.0 which should tick all the boxes.

Oh and by all accounts this build quality is very similar to a bigger note 4 which suits me perfectly.

You're going to love it. I have both the 9.7 and 8.0 in hand right now. The 8.0 is going back, but only because of older eyes needing more real estate, and an issue with the screen. The 9.7 has a slight version of the screen issue, but I can probably live with it given the better visibility. I really prefer the 8.0, though. The size is perfect and it is fast and light. Much faster than the 9.7 IMO, but only a little lighter.
