Okay, I am not sure what is going on. In the beginning when I got my tablet (late Nov) I was able to charge it while working on it. I never left it on endless, but would remove once it was fully charged. Well, now it has started not letting me charge it and work on it at the same time, unless the charge is still like 30-some % or more. Maybe not even that low. It is very frustrating, as it can happen at inopportune times, when I need to work on it. Just wondering if anyone can help me figure this out.

Thanks in advance!

Hi..

I just received my Note 10.1 back from Samsung repair center in Texas. I had exactly the same problem, so now I got it back, I thought great all fixed.. However there is no change at all???

Just wondering what the hell Samsung are up to! I'm going to write to hq in S Korea and see what they say....

Make sure you're using the included A/C - USB adapter. The USB plug will not charge the Note 10.0 will not charge well when plugged into a standard USB port unless the Note 10.1 is turned off. The Samsung adapter supplies a stronger current or something.

I have the same problem as Dawn. I use the AC adapter supplied with the tablet, and I get that annoying red cross on the battery when the tablet is on. It will charge when its turned off, but as Dawn said that can be frustrating.

Sorry I don't have any advice, just wanted to let you know you aren't the only one with the same problem. Oh, just remembered it started doing this after the last android upgrade, wonder if its something to do with that?

Hello, I had the same problem after updating my firmware. I turned off my device (galaxy note 10.1) and plugged it in and let it charge fully. After doing this, it has charged while I use it. Hope this helps.

Thank you so much for tjis reply. Was panicking a little but have been trying to charge up with a different usb plug and am in france where voltage is slightly different anyway. Will relax now. :)
