Saw on tomsguid that Verizon may be giving a buy a n10 5g get a smaller note free..

Saw that leaked ad. Pretty awesome deal if it's real. Guessing you'll have to add a line though.

I plan on getting the smaller Note 10 (been asking for a smaller Note Since the Note 8, as the Note 7 was a perfect size) through T-Mobile's Jump on Demand, assuming I like the device at the Aug. 7 launch. I'm expecting the usual Samsung goodie/freebie with pre-orders. Probably Galaxy Buds again, but it could be the new wireless charger.

true on adding a line we shall see... hopefully not my wife has an s8 and just pd it off so would be good timing. I was planning on the pro or plus. I have the note 8 now. i wish they wouldn't keep changing the aspect ratio making them taller and not wider. but does make them still fit in the hand better so i get that but oh well. also kinda depends on how much more the 5g 10 is. already going to be pricey the plus or pro so the 5g is going to be 1500 bucks maybe...? crazy

Wonder if you could add the line then cancel one of the two you have now, and sell the phone. Might be too complicated.

I don't think it'll be quite be $1,500, unless you're going with a higher storage model (or ceramic, if they're doing that again like with the S10). You're probably looking at the $1,300 range for the 5G Note 10 Plus.

Not much longer now

Yeah can't wait my m8 still works fine no problems looking forward to a little more speed and the fingerprint unlock is much nicer. And the cameras I'm in st. Louis so no 5g yet but wow it sounds crazy fast...

Will NEVER see anything like that here.
Pretty much give them away there, so fortune

Didn't even get any pre order gift for the 9.

Would jump on any deal like that.

Doubt it, the S10 5G is 1300. You don't think a Note 10 5G will cost more? Probably be at least 100 more. So you're looking at at least 1400. They might just go 1500 for good measure lol.

Nah, doubt it'll be more for the base model Note 10+ 5G. If so, maybe $50 max? Part of that S10 5G price tag was the exclusivity of it being the first and only non-modular 5G phone on any US carrier. I could be wrong of course. We'll see soon.

Yeah, we'll see. You may be right about the 50 more but I seriously doubt it'll be the same price. Verizon has an exclusive again so I'm sure they'll milk us for everything they can. They're all about that money.

I thought about waiting for a better deal but depends on what deals they offer at launch

I agree there lol
But to beat around that high price tag is wait around 2 to 3 months after launch and get the best deals

I did that with the Note 9, waited 1-2 month's. The preordered freebies weren't great and t-mobile wanted a huge deposit with taxes. I got a discount, no tax and minimal upfront so I could easily upgrade in a year.

That's awesome just need be a little patient, and deals will be good.

So pre-order deals are NOT as good as deals to be gotten a few months later? Do the prices really drop that much; more than the cost of freebies?

I'll be buying outright without a trade (passing my N8 down) so no incentive for me there. I'd be willing to embrace patience to save a few hundred. 🤑

That's what I've been seeing.
I did that on the NOTE9 , but I've been suckered into pre-order plenty

If you're not trading in, then no, it's not as good. If you're trading in, it gets pretty close because the amount they give you goes up compared to what they'll give you later on. 600 for the most recent phones is pretty good for trade in money.

You would probably save 2-300 by waiting 3-4 months depending on the deal you find, there's a fairly hefty premium to be be very first and latest and greatest :-)
