Is anyone having any issues with non official charging cables not charging your phone or becoming disconnected? It almost never happens with my official happens with my official cable(only happened one time I dont think I had it plugged in all the way.) I'm using a native union braided cable w/ my car charger and sometimes with the slightest touch it stops charging. I use my USB c headphones and they work fine. I hope it's not the charging port itself. I'm using an otterbox defender case if that matters

The slightest touch at the phone? Or at the charger?

If at the phone, but it doesn't happen with the portable (wall plug) charger if you touch the cable, it's not the charging port in the phone. It could be the plug on the cable.

If at the charger, it could be the plug on the cable or the charging port on the car charger.

It is possible that your case or your car mount may be interfering with it by not allowing it to seat correctly. Native Union cables tend to be pretty good cables, so I don't think it is the cable. The part that plugs into your car's aux power (formerly cigarette lighter port) could be not seated all the way too. I've had that happen. The vibration of the car eventually loosens the plug in the socket.

I haven't had any issues with 3rd party USB-C cables. I have used GoPro USB-A to C, Insignia USB-A to C and USB-C to C, and the USB-A to C cable that came with a battery pack. All of them connect securely and work with no issues.

Erm... Im using WSKEN magnetic cable. Works well. But supports up to 3A only...

I'm not a fan of the magnetic cables. For the exact reason you gave, plus the lack of data transfer, or slow data transfer. I normally charge my phone wirelessly (at home, at work, and in my car). Plugging and unplugging it to transfer data isn't that big of an inconvenience, I don't do it enough to worry about wear and tear.

Mine just started when I put in the cradle that's a CD mount. I look over and see the phone lighting up with the circle for no other reason than a bump in the road.

That could be the power plug not being seated properly into the power socket in your car.

Erm. I did try data transfer and its quite fast. Not as fast as using the Samsung cable.but the difference is minor...

Heat maybe? I've had that problem. I have a dash mount wireless charger and my phone will tell me it's too hot and stop charging. I solved that by making sure one of my AC vents blows against the back of the phone.

I used to use micro-usb versions in some prior cables in conjunction with some custom mounts I made (3D printing is just awesome). I ended up going through a bunch of them as the terminals would wear out. It may have been the way I had to place the phone into the dock, but it didn't end up working out. The last straw was actually that the magnet system I used to hold the phone in place caused the adhesive holding the back cover of the phone to come off. This was with a Z5 compact. I tried the same system brightly with the Galaxy S7, but I moved towards using wireless charging soon after.

There's more heat if my phone is laying on its back than out in the AC stream. I figure it's time for a new cable, no biggie, that one was new when I had my Note 8.
