Note 10+ officially retired!

So it's been great being a part of this Note 10 forum over the last 12 months, some useful info shared and great tips and tricks. But as I have pre ordered the Galaxy Note 20 Ultra I have only a few weeks left with the Note 10+, but today I had a little package delivered, it was the Huawei Mate Xs, all I can say is......WOW!

I have this for a month to try out and it's going to overlap the Note 20 Ultra arrival so I need to get right in, so the Note 10+ gets an early retirement, it's been a great phone and it was a very close decision between keeping it and getting the Note 20 Ultra, but I am weak and folded easily!

So my first impressions of the Mate Xs are very good, with it's skimpy little case and my Note 10+ Protective standing cover, it is exactly the same size in height and width.
I have done an unboxing video which I will share at some point, but now I shall take a back seat on the Note 10+ forum and I will be more active on the Note 20 Ultra forum.
If anyone wants any info or pics of the Mate Xs I will be more active in the Huawei Mate X forum (there is no Mate Xs forum)

So I did a few quick pics just to give you guys a rough idea of the size, obviously its thicker than the Note 10+ but generally the same size otherwise, I could really get used to this lol.








The last pic gives you the general size comparison against an Ipad 4th gen.

Does the Mate XS have cell bands that work with ATT & T-MO? Can you sideload the Play Store?

Since I read the OG post, I've been watching YT videos. What a gorgeous phone! I can't imagine that I wouldn't scratch up the screen. It would require so much extra "babying" and using it daily and constantly just might not work out for me. I'm hopefully getting a Z Fold 2 but will keep my Note 10+ as I love the S-Pen. If the Fold ends up being as pricey as the Mate Xs, then I might be waiting until next for a new Foldable or Note model.

When it's open the body is wafer thin as you can see, it's not much thicker than the Note 10+

Note 10+ reached my limitation in size and I see ultra being slightly better. Am not comfortable anything bigger than Note 10+ too. If the note series gets bigger than this, foldable will be next but I don't like outside folding like Mate Xs though. Galaxy fold looks more functional to me.

Yeah I can see where you're coming from. I'm actually using this thing as a daily phone and to be fair it's pulling it off! At work it will be folded most if not all of the day but then home will be full screen time.
