Note 2 Dies When Unplugged from Chager.. HELP!

Hey guys,
I left my Note 2 inside my car during a hot weather for a couple of hours, and when I took it out of the car, my Note 2 started acting up and finally died. I charged it as soon as I got home but it wouldn't charge. The next day I tried to charge it again and it would hold charge and started to work fine while the charger is plugged in my Note 2. Though once I unplug the charger, my Note 2 dies! My Note 2 only works when it is plugged to the charger...
Can someone help me???

Have you tried replacing the battery? that's the first thing I'd test out. If with another battery the same behavior continues, then there might be something wrong with the power circuit inside the phone connecting the battery to the rest of the phone (in which case you'd need to take it in for repairs).

No I haven't replaced the battery yet. I don't know anyone who has Note 2 where I can swap the battery to check if it is the battery that's acting up.
Wanted to see if anybody had this problem before?

I use several batteries for my note 2. How old is the battery? Was it the original that came with the phone?
