Hey all,

I am new the the android market and was hoping someone could help me out. I recently got a samsung note 2 and my girlfriend had an extra kingston microsd 32gb. I installed it in my phone and began to install music and photos in it. As soon as the music is transferred or downloaded, it works in the beginning and as soon as i restart it, the files seem to be corrupted? (if that makes any sense). I go to "My files" and proceed to the microsd files. When I open my music folder, its just a bunch of weird text and I can no longer play the music stored in my microSD card. I tried formatting the microSD from my phone and as well tried formatting it from my laptop but I just seem to get the same results. Has anyone experienced this and might be able to offer me a solution?

Thanks!

Aaron

Also, try the music files in an alternative player... I've had songs on mine that work on the Samsung music player, but stop working for God only knows why, but work beautifully on poweramp.

I would look into replacing the card. it would stink if you managed a workaround at this point to only have it come back when you've half-filled your card (or then some). The Sandisk class 10 cards are very reliable and have the fastest transfer ratings.

Seems like there had heen an awful lot of faulty kingston microsd cards lately. Might need to be a brand to stay clear of.
