Hi guys , I just got my note 2 today and I'm very excited. I have a bunch of questions that hopefully some of you guys can answer.

1.) I'm from the Philippines btw , I bought this at an online store ( multiply/facebook ) called DBGadgets at a 120 usd discount from the multiply marketplace. Don't worry they sell legit products. So I'm thinking should I root this or not ? My only concern is to make sure that I get the latest updates without rooting them over and over again , for example in my s2 I got tired of rooting it so I wasn't able to get the updates. Or should I just leave it and check updates from time to time.
2.) At first when I used the spen earlier today , it was responsive and I could write fast. But a few hours later it lags a bit. Is there a setting for the sensitivity ?
3.) Any tips to make the battery last longer ? I like the 50 percent brightness , and I usually use viber , check email , and messaging.
4.) I like the virtual back home and recent apps buttons in my nexus 7 , is there any way to do this in the note? update it to 4.2 ? or maybe I'm missing something in closing or opening recent apps ( which I find very useful btw )
5.) I want to make my own set of icons for my home and dock icons. What's the best way to do this ? Install go launcher and change the icons individually ? Is there a way to pack all the icons in an icon theme for easy installation ? And what other methods do you prefer aside from using go launcher
