Does anyone know if Verizon ever reduces their "Retail" prices for their phones?
I was hoping to wait a month or so to see if the $699 price tag would go down but
I just looked at their 'retail' price of the Droid 4 which has been out for a while and it is about $550.
Does anyone know if that is the price the Droid 4 started out at?

Thanks,

I think they drop them a little bit, but the phones have to out for a long time before they do. Maybe someone with more specific information could chime in too.

not really. For the most part retail price stays the same through the life of the phone maybe it was slightly drop when the phone reaches end of life. If you're going to pay full price for it, you might as well just go pick it up now. The best thing to do is look for a store that is giving some type of incentive when you bye. I think Radio Shack is giving a 10 dollar gift card with every 100 dollars that you spend so that works out to be a good deal especially if you're paying full price for the phone.

Best Buy will price match the retail price with Verizon. I just did it. You can then get reward zone points, which convert to money. The Radio Shack idea is good too, actually better than RZ. I like BB because of their return policy and extended protection.
