Note 20 Ultra calls only working on speakerphone or headset

[Android Central Question]

For a few weeks now, I've only been able to place calls on speakerphone, using Bluetooth or a headset. The earpiece is not working. Has anyone else experienced this on their note 20 ultra? Anyone know of a fix... Hoping to not have to reset or send it in for repair. It doesn't seem to be related to updating to One UI 3.0.

Can try safe mode to see if any 3rd party application or apps causing this, also in Samsung members app can test the ear piece.

If safe mode doesn't fix it, the earpiece probably has to be replaced (for anyone reading this later).
