Many folks believe their phones got scratched by a few stray grains of sand in their pants pocket. I'd really like to see a durability test where someone puts a phone in a pouch with some sand, shakes and rubs it for a while, and then checks for scratches. Does anyone know if there's a video like that somewhere?
I have been searching for JerryRig's video daily but I guess it won't come out until after the official street date launch?
It's not JerryRigEverything but it's pretty good.
Check it out !

With this new glass I'm hoping for "Scratches at level 7, deeper grooves at level 8"
Encouraging. I'm strongly leaning towards not using a screen protector on mine. I'll use a case but on my current Note 9, I changed my Whitestone Dome 3 times because of bubbles/cracking in the glue that developed over time as well as scratches in the screen protector that probably wouldn't have happened to the Gorilla Glass on the phone itself.
AgreeI aways watch JerryRiggEveryrhing durability tests and teardowns as a rule of thumb.
Any glass display will scratch given the right conditions hence why I opt to use a Whitestone Dome Glass Screen Protector.
Stay Safe.
