Note 3 or Blue HTC One

I currently have S4 but my 13 year old son broke his phone so I was thinking of giving him my 32gb S4 and getting the Note 3 or Blue HTC One. I previously had silver Htc One but gave to my 15 year old son because he was familiar with Htc brand and loved the phone. I switched to S4 but regretted not sticking with One a little. really loved what I saw of the Note 3 but also like the Blue Htc one. I watch a lot of video and read quite of bit of news on a daily basis so I am leaning towards the note 3. I am little worried about downgrading the ppi from the S4 to the note 3. Anyone think there will be a noticeable difference? Also glad I sold my iiphone 5 to switch to android. only if apple could have made a bigger screen and done something different with their stale OS. Still love my Macbook pro though.

If you dont like the S4s UI you wont like the Note's as its very very similar. AKA the same besides the Note's features. The PPI is over rated. I currently have a Moto X with 720p resolution and it is one of the best screens I used. The Note 3 will be fine with its 1080p resolution, trust me.

And yes, I love my macbook air also. Apple computers truly are amazing!

I don't mind the UI. The One just seemed to run smoother and had the premium feel too it. Coming from iPhones since 2007, it took the One for me to make the switch. I like the new look of the note 3.

I had the HTC One DE and converted it to a GPe model which was even smother than Sense 5. From all reports on the GN3 it seems to be pretty solid device, smooth, no issues, really its about the size comparison if you want the One vs the GN3 and if you can get the Blue One in 64GB since no microSD.

I think I would really like use of s pen and the larger screen. Appreciate the advice. I also think the n3 has a slight advantage with the camera as well which is key for me since I take a lot of pics of the kids.

Well, you could hold off and see if the One Max comes to fruition anytime soon or you could go with the Note. I think I'd go with the Note. ...more functionality.
