Note 3 problems

After I factory reset my note 3, the screen freezes every 5-10 minutes then I tried to lock and unlock but the screen won't display anything, only black screen but the led and buttons are lighted up. The phone unlocks but only black screen appears. I have to lock it again and wait for a few minutes to unlock it again to the remove black screen. Black screen issue occurs every time when I lock the phone following a screen freeze. Hoping for any fix. Please
I did a factory reset and wipe cache but still the problem occurs.

Sounds like a bad display or connection to the display. You will likely need to get it repaired.

Since it only happens due to certain firmware conditions, I'd guess it's a corrupted ROM or bad storage on the motherboard. Bad connections don't "go good" by locking the screen (which is purely a firmware function). Neither does the display itself. The only hardware problem I can think of is a bad screen driver - and since that's on the motherboard, fixing it would mean a new motherboard.
