I'm running Android 5.0 stock on my SM-N9005 and am having a problem with my screen waking by itself and draining the battery. I temporarily installed a custom ROM which had the option to disable home button wake. When this was enabled the screen didn't wake at all uninvited. I couldn't get voicemail notifications working in the custom ROM so I had to revert to stock. I assumed that the problem was due to a faulty home button so I purchased a whole new screen & home button but with this fitted the problem is as bad as ever. I've tried every turning off wifi, bluetooth, NFC but nothing makes any difference.
Winam exposed framework isn't supported yet on Samsung lollipop devices so that avenue is cut off for me as well. Any suggestions? I
