Note 3 software update. 10/24

Tried updating it after school and it said something about they ran out of keys or something.
Yeah, I got the same message. Said the update service is not available. "Maximum number of roll-out updates has been exceeded. Try later or update your device using Samsung Kies." Tried Kies and it tells me I have the latest version, which is not the updated one. I haven't found a third party site that has the update available, so I guess there's no other choice except to wait.

Hi. My build number ends in MI5, but I see in the screenshot that it is MJ4. I tried to update but got an error message..."the software service is not available. Maximum number of roll-out updates has been exceeded. Try later or update your device using Samsung Kies." I just got the phone 2 days ago, and haven't installed any updates. connected to keys and it said that MI5 is the most current firmware. Am I good? Thanks!!

Ha. Just noticed the same exact question right before me. I guess I type too slowly.

Yeah, same here.

You will get the update eventually. I got my phone on October 5th and right away got an update right away (MI5) and I got the new one the night it was released.

Different phones get updates at different days, it's always been like that.

Since this is a rather small update, I'm very disappointed with Sprint's update service. Usually, they're very fast with their updates. And to say the maximum number of roll-out updates has been exceeded; that's pretty lame. I've tried to update since it came out, but haven't been able to do so. I know I haven't missed it because I have Auto Update set. I'll just have to wait. I'm too old to be this patient. :p

Even Kies 3 won't update it. Still on ml5. I wonder if they pulled it for some reason.

I live in Georgia and today I finally went to the update screen and was able to get the download. All week I have been trying and kept getting the message of they have an overload of updates to try again later or use Samsung kies.

Well, hit the update button this morning and it pushed through to my Note 3. So, evidently, the update service is back again. So, if you haven't got it yet, try it now.

OK, got it. Whew.....

I agree with everyone about the keyboard......the original looked much better.

It's pretty bad when the update service to update your phone needs to be updated. :)

Has this upgrade failed to correct the audio crackling/interference issue for anyone?

I'm not sure what every else was saying was wrong with the audio exactly, but I can say that before this update I was getting a lot of weird "hiss/crackle" in my headphones anytime the screen was redrawing (scrolling around in Play Music, etc). I just plugged in some headphones and I can confirm that this is no longer happening.
