This is a weird one for me...I have a house full of Samsung TVs and on one of the TVs, a window pops up that says the following:

"Samsung wireless LAN adapter connector....." And then gives me a couple options to click on, but doesn't work with either my Samsung TV clicker or my Note 3.

Message pop up is driving the family nuts because it comes on the screen every 20 mins or so and no way to shut it down. I believe it's got something to Do with HDMI, but I believe I would need an additional adaptor to have the note and the TV communicate.

At this stage I just want to turn it off...I tried shutting down the network and looking for other options, but nada. Any thoughts?

On your phone turn off S-Beam,All Share, NFC etc .

I don't know if the problem is your phone. I mean, did this started when you got the Note 3?

Anyway, you should also turn off the Screen Mirroring and Nearby Devices features on your phone.

Thanks. Yes, started when I bought my Note 3. Also turned off Screen mirroring and Nearby Devices and TV still pops up with message (goes away after a few mins, but then reappears 20 mins later or so).

Could you post a picture? This might sound weird, but it might be that one of your neighbors got a WiFi Adapter for an old BluRay player, and that's what's trying to access your TV.

That thought also crossed my mind.
I agree with you.

To the OP, have you mess around with the TV tools or menu to try and solve the problem?
What brand is the TV with that message?
