Note 3 WINS!

Come on now they will use their apple tv with airplay to push that tiny screen to their overprice big screen that they wish was from apple and use their teeny tiny iphone as a game controller. Seriously, they are now touting the iphone 5s as a gaming machine. What next it will bring peace to the Middle East.

That's the idea of the 5c! Bring it out cheaper, because if everyone can afford it, then no one will want to associate with each other or fight because they're too good for each other!

Apple are lagging behind.

That was a joke of an upgrade.

How do people know what the ram is, apple don't usually announce and until its it's the hands of the public so we find out.

These android > apple or apple > android conversations are annoying, it's like being 10 again and arguing in the playground that the commodore Amiga is better than the Atari ST then the swag mega drive is better than than the SNES.

I have owned both types of devices and both have pros and cons at the end of the day it's a phone and use what ever you choose ..... Buts its not a football team.

lol...you do realize this is exactly like a football team. I hope you were being sarcastic.

I support one football team and always will no matter if they are top of the league, winning the champions league again or relegated to league 2.....

I don't support a phone manufacturer I use one (will have a preference) , I'm happy to flip-flop from one to the other depending on what is on offer at that time that suits my needs just like my tv maker, my car and even my supermarket. At the end of the day they are corporations with one objective to get as much money from you as fast as possible and make as much profit as they can.

64 Bit was the only thing that was impressive. Other then that I was not impressed.

What do you think sports teams do? Play for charity? No, they charge for tickets, apparel, marketing, etc etc just like a phone manufacturer does. Your first comparison was Android vs Apple, and that is exactly like a sports team. I'll root for Android every day.

I'm the same way, though I do give some loyalty to manufacturers that have treated me right in the past. I plan on getting both the iPhone 5S and Note 3, the iPhone 5S for work with its superior security and more comfortable for phone calls, and the Note 3 with its superior media and game consuption capabilities.

A sports team represents the city you live or grew up with. Apple, Google, and all the other corporations are huge corporations with thousands of employees making products for you to buy. I don't get the point of rooting for one over the other. If you don't like a certain company just don't buy their products, no reason that company existing and making products should effect your life in anyway, unlike sports teams where the other team can actually disqualify your team from contention and pick up players you wanted on your team.

Simply put, sports are a business, just like electronics. We can root for certain companies being made in the US or whatever still. I personally buy Ford cars because my family has been union workers in GM and Ford for 2 generations.

Back to the real intention of this thread though, I'm looking forward to this phone. It still baffles me that the iPhone didn't get a screen refresh, but I guess it doesn't need one when the size doesn't change and the UI gets more Easter-like with the colors.

I personally think Apple had some neat annoucements yesterday but there are just too many options, too much "something for everyone" with android for me to ever be fulfilled by what is the iphone and ios. I keep trying iphones and ipads to see if I can enjoy them again but alas it is not meant to be. If android is the Borg, it would appear that I've been assimilated.

64-bit is a pretty big jump in my opinion. I'm surprised Apple didn't add RAM to fully utilize it.

Well, for one reason, they'd need an insane battery if they added the 4GB plus of RAM that regular 32-bit architecture can't address.

Phones don't play each other in a competition and come out as a winner in the same way that sports teams do.

Even sports fans shouldn't be in denial. I like the Baltimore Ravens, but I would be delusional if I didn't give Peyton Manning his props for Thursday night's performance.
