Note 3 with Booster

Where we travel for a couple of months in the summer time, cell signals are very weak, and the cell towers are 40 plus miles away. Just ordered a 3 watt booster, legal to buy through end of this month (after that the wimpy boosters only can be sold). Has any one used one of these boosters that should give the Note 3 the same range as the old bag phones. Last summer we saw friends using the boosters and when we had zero signal (on our old phone before the Note 3) they were getting 2 or 3 bars using the boosters. Anyone used one of these 3 watt boosters.

I have used a 3 watt wireless booster for several years and it has been a big help. Good idea to do.
