Hello,

I have a Note 3 from AT&T that is unlocked and am using T mobile. I have tried plentiful times to update my phone and have googled the problem. People say to use odin and get the update that way, but I was wondering, maybe, that someone else had the same problem and got it fixed somehow.

Thank You,

T-Mobile won't update a model they don't sell. You can either do as suggested (Odin it) or put an AT&T SIM in it and update. That's just the way the system is designed. ALL carriers work this way.

Do you know of any sites that show how to use odin to do this? Thanks

Make sure you get the correct firmware for your exact model (ignore what your carrier is NOW), get the firmware for the exact model of your phone. Note: Make sure you get the correct firmware for your exact model. I keep saying this because it is the most important step. Your phone will be bricked if you don't follow that step. I'm not going to give you a link to your model, you'll need to make sure of that yourself. Note: There are over 20 DIFFERENT models of Note 3. I hope you understand by now how important it is to get the exact model number correct when downloading firmware.
