Note 4 Anyone planning on getting the Samsung VR?

Just wondering what y'all thought of the Samsung VR and if you plan on getting it.

I would like to have it, but I definitely don't want to pay a fortune for, what seems to be at the moment, a novelty item.

Its purpose is a bit of novelty fun, and when its down to say £50 which would be roughly $110 ish I think, anyway then for that it will be worth it for that bit of fun

Yeah, I wouldn't call it useful either. I just think it would be a cool experience. Really depends on the cost for me. I haven't been able to find anything that has a definite cost though. I can't imagine it costing to much since it's just plastic and some lenses.

I've been super excited for affordable VR, so I tried google cardboard with my Note 2 last week. I am a hardcore gamer since '85 and never get motion sickness, but I put in Shadowgun VR demo, and just about hurled within about 30 seconds, and felt sick the rest of the evening. If I can try out a demo of one, and pick one up for under $100 I will probably buy one anyways, even if just to use it laying in bed or on a plane or drive, for just 2d movies and games.

I'm definitely in the minority but the only reason I'm getting a note 4 is because of Gear VR.
It's what separates the note 4 from phones like the lg g3 and the nexus 6. VR will be as big as
the smartphone revolution within the next 5 years. The Gear VR is a peak into the future.
Samsung is brilliant for teaming up with Oculus.

From what I see reviewers said when they saw the price they were surprised on how cheap it was.. Guess we got to be patient

Rumor's range from 150$-230$. I think it should be less expensive but I'm getting it anyways since this is the best consumer VR available, besides oculus's headsets.

If it's the same price range of the Gear 2 Neo around $250, I'll consider.
