Does the white or black have a nicer feel to them? I have read where the white has a more plastic feel and the black has a more leathery feel. Which would have more grip to it? Wouldn't they be the same material?

This was true on the Note 3, I'm not sure about the Note 4. All demos I have seen have been white.

Well i went to BB yesterday to see the note 4 demo and they feel the same as the note 3's back minus the fake stitching.

Interesting. The white that I played with at a local AT&T store felt very plasticy, but the black cover of the Alpha felt more leathery, and has a better grip feel. Not sure if the black Note 4 is the same.

Went to my local BB earlier today. They had two Note 4's (both white) and an Edge (black). The back of the Edge felt much more grippier than either of the white Note 4's. To sum up, I don't think anything has changed from the Note 3 (black being grippier than the white).

I find the note 3 to feel better then the black one Imo. Same goes with the white note4 and black note edge which bestbuy had showing

If this is true I may be getting black instead of the white like I had initially planned. Who knows maybe its not a huge deal with cases anyway.

I looked at both colors for both Note 3 and 4.

The black color for both Note 3 and 4 is softer/tackier. I felt like the Note 3 was slightly more tacker than the 4.

The white one for the Note 4 did not have the same kind of tackiness. I did not feel like this was a detractor however; just different.

Personally I am neutral on the tackiness. Sure people say it feels better and it's easier to hold but I am not sure I want a phone with a tacky back. With respect to feel I would be fine with either; white maybe better for slipping in and out of your hands (like putting it in your pockets) and black better for the softer feel.
