I've had at least 4-5 device resets on my note 4 ever since lollipop upgrade, tmobile variant. Battery would drain over 50% even when i had gps, bt, wifi shut off during sleep hours. Nothing i can do except to reset the device.

Not that this helps you but one clue is that something has kept your phone awake the entire time, see below. That's what's killing the battery.

Determine what that is and problem solved.

Sorry for being vague but one step at a time.

Try installing Watchdog and see if something is keeping the CPU running at a high rate.

Have you installed any new apps or updated apps since this just started happening? Could be a bad app or bad app update.

From their screenshots, it looks to be 3 apps. Android battery stats in the phone's Settings, Better Battery Stats, and also GSam.
