I'll try and explain this the best I can. I was having a problem one night when my battery was draining faster then it would charge. It will not fast charge anymore either. I can watch the battery percent drop at a percent a minute. I ordered a couple batteries and tried those and it didn't help. Reset my phone to factory settings and didn't help. Tried several different chargers and cables and didn't help. Decided to ship it off and had a new USB port installed. Got it back and still does the same thing. If I power it off it will eventually charge to 100% but when I turn it on the battery drain fast on all 4 batteries I have. Will replacing the motherboard fix this issue? Or is it a guessing game.

Welcome to Android Central! Charge up to 100%, then let it drain to 20-30% with normal usage, without charging in between. Then show us:

1. The main Settings>Battery screen.
2. The fullscreen battery graph screen (which shows Awake time and Cell Signal Strength).
3. The Screen category (to see total Screen On time).
4. The Cell Standby category, if present (to see Time Without Signal).

You might have to install a 3rd party battery monitor, like GSam Battery Monitor, to get the Cell Signal Strength graph.
