Note 4 notification light not fully round.

Today, I noticed the notification light on my Note 4 isn't round. It looks like there's a black "x" going through the round LED.

I tried restarting my phone, but it's still there.

This is regardless of if the light is green, red, etc.

I can still see the light a little bit, because the X doesn't cover the whole thing.

Why is this happening, and how can I fix it?

A tri-color LED is actually 3 little LEDs in the same package, and there;s a little grid holding them in place. You probably hit (or even just tapped) the phone in eaxtly the wrong way and knocked the grid loose. You can live with it ... or pay whatever a repair shop will charge you to replace the LED. (The part is less than a dollar - the labor could be over $50.)

I also just found out I could lift the glass panel a little bit. I never knew that.

I lifted the panel and blew from my mouth in that direction. That seemed to make it better.

2 or 3 horizontal lines still appear, but it's better than it was before, and I can see most of the tri-color LED now.

Actually, where the horizontal lines always there? I thought this LED appeared round and solid, but from the way you're describing it, maybe it is supposed to be segmented.
