Note 4 or Galaxy S5?

I have a Note Pro 12.2. My current cell phone is an iPhone 4. Considering the fact that I have GNP what's your advice on upgrading my cell phone to a Note 4 or a GS5?

I have the Note Pro 12.2 and a Samsung Galaxy S3. I plan to get the Note 4.

The Note 4 just got announced and will ship in October. The S5 is about 6 months old now.

I've seen/used the Note 4 in person at Best Buy. The screen is AMAZING! It feels great in the hand too with the metal sides.

Are you leaning toward the Note 4 or the S5?

I have the Note 2 and 3. My hubby has S4. I can't imagine having a smaller phone than my Notes. I have also an iPod 5th generation for working out because I wanted to be able to have it on me, but it drives me nuts because it's so small. So for you going from an iPhone to either the S5 or Note will be a huge jump. Do you carry your phone in your pocket mainly? The S5 is more pocketable. I put my Note in my jacket pockets or my purse, my hubby always carries his phone in his pant pockets. The Note is too big for my pant pockets. I'm definitely partial to the Note line. I love the size and the S Pen is always handy.

All right, let me tell the whole story. I'm 68 years old and kind of a techno nut. I was the first in my family to have a computer (Commodore VIC 20) and I had a company that created hardware and software for the Commodore 64. I like to have the latest in technology when I can afford it. As a retiree on a fixed income that's getting harder and harder.

I have a Note Pro 12.2 which seems to be a larger version of the Note 4 so I'm leaning toward the Galaxy S5. Also, I have a GoPro camera and discovered a company that has created a bracket to attach it to an S5 or a 6+ so I can use the phone to control the camera.

After a couple of days of negotiating with Verizon, T-mobile and Sprint I finally convinced Verizon to give me a big discount on the S5 so I'd stay with them. I got mine today.
