Quick feedback....Broken LCD on Note 4 with 9 months left in Sprint contract. Would you pay the $200 deductible up front (or on bill) for a refurb Note 4 or upgrade to a S7 Edge lease? (taxes up front + $21 x 24 mo.)
Look up UbreakIfix, they use Samsung parts and include a 90 day warranty, if you're on Verizon and have Asurion, they also are authorized to do repairs
For $200, you get a phone that will never receive any more updates, while the S7 Edge may get one more. That gives you an additional year of relevance.
On the other hand, the S7E has a sealed battery that may or may not serve you well for two years (where the Note 4 you can just pop in a new battery and off you go) and you lose S-Pen and other Note-y goodness features.
Personally - between the two, I'd pay the $200, put it in a protective case, and if you can get a year out of it you can see what the Next Big Thing brings.
