Note 4 Spen Replacement Tips?

The extra tips that come with the S Pen are 3 white and 2 gray. Is there a difference other than color?

The white are plastic tips for use on plastic screen protectors. The black/gray are softer tips for glass.

slightly incorrect, the 'regular' tips, for glass are the color of your Note 4, the screen protector tips are GREY.

That is so true, I have installed the iloome 8H tempered glass, and when I used the S-Pen with the black tips it felt tacky, not smooth at all, then I was at XDA Developers forum and this issue came up, and someone recommended I use the white/grey tip that came with the replacement tips "only 2 white/grey tips in packaging", night and day difference, now the S-Pen is smooth as butter.

The tips are different in composition. The black ones are softer and tend to grip the screen a bit. The white ones are harder and slide across the screen effortlessly. Putting the type of screen protector aside, you should see if you like the grippy black ones or slippery white ones. There really is no correct tip for the S-pen, the only right one is the one you like better.
