Have Verizon unlocked Note 4 910 V how can I receive updates it says it's kernel

Welcome to Android Central! Are you using it on Verizon, or some other network? Phones usually need to be on their original network in order to receive official system updates OTA. If you're not on Verizon, you could try the Software Upgrade Assistant or Samsung Smart Switch to manually update the firmware.

What do you mean that "it says it's kernel"? Is the phone rooted?
