I just purchased a new note 4. Switched from iPhone and this is my first android device.

I am currently having problems connecting to my Uverse WiFi.

My wifi keeps saying its disabled. If I go into airplane mode and turn on WiFi, it works however when i disable airplane mode and carrier network back on the wifi disables.

Anyone got a solution to this?

If you are having a WiFi stability problem, then disabling WiFi Direct Share and WiFi Direct apps can solve the problem. To disable them, go to Settings, then Application Manager on the All tab.

If That did not work then Try This:
Disable all devices that are connected to the modem, then enable your Galaxy Note 4 first. Most of the time there are connection authentication issues with devices that are connected on the same network, such as IP conflict.

Unfortunately you can't turn off wifi direct and direct share on the note 4 (att version). I could do that on the note 3. Closest thing is force stop.
