Just switched back to Android after a while. Got the Note 5 which I am loving so far, however I have a deal breaker issue that needs to be fixed !!

The internet speeds with Wifi are insanely slow. I have comcast at home and ATT wifi at work and had no issues with my previous phone.

I tried clearing the Cache, resetting the phone and even tried using DNSset to switch my ip to ipv4 from 6.

All online search has revealed is there is some problem between Android Lollipop and Comcast.

Extremely annoying problem. Please help, I have a couple of days to decide, then I might be forced to return this phone and stick to my Iphone( :( )

Seeing that no one else is facing this issue, Is it possible that mine's a lemon ?

I have comcast at home and find receiving notifications when I'm on wifi to be sketchy at best. I have a Airport extreme router as well and that didn't seem to help much either.

I have comcast Internet, and have never had a faster connection. I'm pulling down 104 mbs with no disconnections with my Note 5. My droid turbo pulled down 85 mbs with many disconnections.

I have time warner for internet and I am connecting using the airport time capsule I am seeing speeds on the AC bands of 112mbs on wifi on the note 5 I only set that one connection so that it doesn't try to connect to the regular 2.5ghz bands they seem to get congested giving slower speeds of 35mps

The basic comcast router only has 2.5 GHz bands ! So does ATT at work I am guessing. I am getting < 1 MBPS on a 150 MBPS connection
