Note 5 Locked

I am new to this thread, and seeking for a solution to a problem.
Please help me if you are able.

My Note 5 has been locked. I forgot the password and unable to unlock the phone.
I do have access to my Gmail but the problem is My Wi-Fi is turned off and it won't turn on until i unlock the phone. So it is kind of a loop I am stuck in.
Is there any possible way to unlock the phone without losing any data.

Any Help will be appreciated.

This happened to me a few months ago and it was the most stressful time of my life. I tried literally EVERYTHING! After 4 days of trying to remember my password, my only choice was the dreaded factory reset. I lost a ton but it was my only choice. I looked on the internet, called Verizon, called Samsung, nothing worked. I'm sorry, it really sucks. I back my phone up weekly now as to not lose anything if this happens again.
