Note 5 speakerphone Verizon issue

Is there anyone else having people tell them that they can barely hear you while on speakerphone. I have had several people tell me this. My phone can be in or out of the case and I have to yell at the phone to get them to hear me.

I've not heard of this issue before. How far away is the phone when you are using it on speaker?

The phone could right beside me. The most 15 inches away or so.
