Note 8.0 screen usage

Greeting all, I just bought an 8.0 yesterday and started exploring the settings and noticed that the screen usage was at about 86-96% so I turned on power saving mode and dimmed the brightness significantly in hopes to lower the usage but it's still at around the same mark. I was wondering if this is reason for concern or is this just the normal screen usage for the 8.0?

It really depends on the usage. Any chance you can run GSAM for a few days and post screenshots?

That is normal. The screen should show the highest usage percentage. Anything else higher would indicate some other background process is using a significant amount of battery power.

Yep screen should use the most power. Wireless radios is the next thing that use the most power.

how many hours screen iusage are you getting?

on heavy usage i get 5-6 hours.
