Note 8 call volume limited

The volume on my Note 8 is limited to 15/40 for calls only when connected to my new car stereo. For music and notifications I can turn the volume all the way to 40/40. Any ideas?

I tried this and it said not available on Bluetooth.

I tried this and it said not available on Bluetooth.

I spoke with JVC and the said there is an issue with Samsung Galaxy phones only. Had to go to settings and search for media volume limiter. Had to turn that on and set the slide to max volume. For some reason with the Galaxy phones the volume limiter will be stuck to medium even though it is turned off.
