Note 8 chooses mobile web sites?

Using the stock browser, does the note8 always choose mobile versions of web sites? It seems so. Is there a way to change it?

Thanks. Can you be more specific? I can't find anything in "setting" on the device nor can I find a settings feature for the browser.

I don't know what to say. Ditch the stock browser and try another one. I use Opera Classic.
