Note 8 Model info

Greetings,

Just received my SM-N950U Note 8. Question is the box says it is a AT&T model but the software is T-Mobile. Is that how it is supposed to be? I thought I was getting a factory unlocked Note 8.

Where did you purchase it from? it most likely is flashed and unlocked hence why you see it boot up as T-Mobile. I work with a cell phone warehouse company and when we get locked phones we unlock them through a program which can flash the phone to a certain carrier but I will be unlocked all around.

Thanks for the response. I bought it on eBay which can be risky. It was new in box but the box was not sealed. Did still have all the plastic on the phone.
