Not a huge deal, but I reset my Note 8. Even though I had a full backup using SmartSwitch, after resetting and restoring, there was much I had to do. While doing all this, I was able to review all the apps I previously had on my phone before reinstalling them. I decided to not install a number of them. I also decided to leave some settings alone keeping my phone more simple for now even if not as "secure." On a phone like the Note 8 in the honeymoon phase where there's an overload of things and settings, the tendency is to install everything in sight, employ every security offering and so on. Resetting my phone has allowed me to take a more conservative route setting up my phone. Right now, I'm enjoying the phone more (from a practical daily use view) and I've renewed my interest and fascination with the Note 8.
