Holy crap! You'll have to forgive me, but I've never seen LTE speeds like this in my area. I'm using a US unlocked Note 8 on T-Mobile in the DC Metro area. Wow!

Nice one. Our speeds here max out at about 100meg. More than enough for phone duties but bigger is better :)

I'm in the DC Metro area also and the speeds do seem insanely fast.

That's more than twice as fast as the home Internet available where I live lol.

T-Mobile only gets around 13mbps where I'm at, Verizon gets near 50mbps.

Never seen a mobile connection that fast to be honest I'm impressed.

This is about max for me. Although it is quite wide spread at that speed, pretty consistent.

I only have 80/20 at home which I have had for 5 years and won't improve in the near future.

This is on my S8. Don't think my N8 will be any better, there just isn't the infrastructure.Screenshot_20170908-123207.jpg

I haven't even checked the settings of the speeds but I've noticed they are very noticeably very fast

Tmobile does very well in the Detroit area. No other carrier gets close to these speeds!

I believe there are certain markets updated to a newer technology earlier this year and still making it's rounds. This was before talk of the new 600 Mhz spectrum rolling out.

Not sure how fast you need it to be.
Unless actually downloading a large file ( which I have done on occasion, in the gigabyte's tethered ) then it's probably a bit over kill for streaming etc.

My TV provider states that anything over 10meg is acceptable for streaming HD. Which circa 5 years ago was all we had here via ads and it worked fine.

Back to op, I am curious also. Will run a few tests in same location as my S8 / S7 / Op3t Etc

I just ran a couple of tests at work and got faster speeds than at home.
Looking good.
