Note 8 unable to charge with Samsung Adapters

I have a Note 8 and all of a sudden it started to not charge when plugged charge with charge adapter. I tried various cable and charge adapter didn’t help.

But I can connect to my PC and I can charge my Phone through with USB.

My cable and adapter is working other Note8.

Any suggestions on what this could be?

I actually have been having similar issues. At least once or twice a month, my phone wouldn't charge while plugged. I only use the official Samsung fast charge adapter and cable, it just gets really hot then shuts down. Luckily I was still in warranty so I sent it to the repair center in texas here in the USA. I should be getting my phone back by Thursday 9/6, I'll update the thread when I get my baby back.

Can anyone please give me stories of the experiences they had regarding Samsung's repair centers? I'm worried they scratched my phone, or I'll find some problems with the repair, I'm pretty ocd about the condition of my phone. I had a horrible experience with LG on a repair, basically, my phone came back with dents and scratches along the frame from when they resolved my camera issues. And it was a nightmare getting them to just replace my unit, it took about a month of back and forth emails to get a replacment instead of them "repairing" it again.

The only other issue I just started to have is the INCOMPLETE CONNECTION error. I will try and clean out the usb port today and see if this fixes that error.

I too am curious about how dependable the Samsung repair services are just in case I need to send mine in for repairs.

I tried charge trough to Usb port on my pc..there was no problem..because usb port has not any dirty problem..

Ok so I started with a wooden toothpick and carefully tried cleaning out the USB-C connector, then I followed to with a dental floss tree thingy (the tip is made if a soft rubber). Then connected the crevice tool to my vacuum to suck out what ever I loosened. So far so good.

Does anyone use any silicone type plugs/caps or even Ankey Magnetic USB C Adapter, Magnetic Fast Charging Support 4.3A USB Type C to USB C Charger Connection Converter for Google Chromebook Pixel/Samsung Galaxy S8/HTC and Other USB-C Devices to keep the dust/lint out?
