I guess all that is left for the Note 8 is possibly a dual camera and maybe 6GB of RAM. Screen might just be 0.1 inches bigger than the GS8+

I thought an onscreen fingerprint reader would be a good way to separate GS8+ and the Note 8, but without it and for the extra cost, I see no point in not waiting for the GS9+. Even then, might just be a better option to look around for me since it feels like the Note 4 was the last unique phone in the Note line up.

Hopefully the LG V30 is better.

Hopefully it isn't near the camera but in a more reasonable spot. I've adjusted to the S8 plus but I would prefer something like the G6 or Pixel.

If this information is indeed true, which seems fairly likely since other websites are reporting the same things like 9to5Google, I'm not that upset. I think it was a long shot anyway to get something as awesome as that to work. We would love to have it! But maybe next year.

I definitely think we will be getting the dual camera set up with a auto-focus front facing camera. Would even be really cool to make it have OIS. So still lots of things to look forward to.

Already decided to get an Active if I am able to get the 360 for $49.99 and $200 trade in along with a bogo.


If the note 8 + offers blow me away well we shall see then. At this point Im just deciding which I want more, tempered glass or an s pen for precision clicking.

There has got to be a stylus that works on non notes.

I'm still holding out hope. Synaptics issued a news release shortly after the S8 was released saying that they had completed the technology and that it would start appearing in products in the third quarter of this year.

There might be a slim chance that it might make it. But of course, we'll have to see.

If the Note8 having a rear-mounted scanner is indeed the case, let's hope it's placed more ergonomically.
