You use any power saving modes or smart stay?
No bud no power savings modes used.
The replacement device they sent me was defective. So they gave me another fresh device out the box. And all is well.
That's the thing with refurbished devices. They may have a basic check list. But depending on who's doing the actually assessment of the device, depends upon if the device actually should be sent back out.
Is the person dedicated to get the device certified and officially repaired? Or are they just passing them through to get them back out to customers who are in need of a replacement!
This really would determine getting a new device over a refurb.
If there's availability for a refurb, then that's what you're going to get and you hope that it's a working device. I'm not saying all refurbs are bad. I'm saying all mine were.
Unfortunately I have had three devices in the past 6 months. Total trash!!
Immaculate devices returned to them and it hurt sending them back because I always kept my devices in mint condish. But when issues arise and they can't even fix them what else can I do? I love the note 9.
Finally Asurion had sent over a request to issue me a brand new device once I got to the store. And a brand new device it is. Everything works excellent. I will upgrade to the note 10 plus and keep this device.
I have no answers for the display time out concerning the refurb. Neither did Asurion at the store.
The Bluetooth issue was an anomaly as well. They really took the time to try and get these devices working before issuing be a new one.
However back to my original statement at the beginning. It all starts in officially assessing and repairing the devices properly. If they are using an independent company to do this, I am sure the answer lies with them!
