I switched from note 9 to mate 20 pro. I love the note but the mate is an absolute beast of a phone, probably best phone I have ever owned. No regrets whatsoever

I did this. However be careful to buy a unit with a boe screen if you care about the green color shift along the edges.

You'll love this device, I came from a Galaxy Note8, and the Mate 20 Pro has had me quitting Samsung.

The battery life on the Mate 20 Pro is just too good to go back to a Samsung for me, I have been using the phone all day, it's now 8PM here at home, still sitting on 64%. With heavy usage I can get over 1day and 2hours of usage with 7-8hours SOT.

Mate 20 pro is 1 device that nearly every youtuber and buyers have given huge thumbs up to but expect this thread to be more busy....hope mine arrives soon...will give my feedback

I went from the Note 9 to Mate 10(not pro) as my daily driver.

there are a number of things the Note 9 do better:
UI - skin and themes are better
Speakers are better
screen is better
vibration motor is better

with that said, the Mate 10 camera is better overall, the battery destroys the Note 9, which for me are very important.
I also got it for $629.
