Note/Document in a folder?

Is there a way to put a note in a folder? I am taking money paid in Fantasy Football league, and want to put the ledger in the folder with my apps.

What note-taking app are you using?

I have Evernote, Samsung Note and S-note(it's kind of weird that those last 2 are different)

The only way I can think of doing this would be if any of those note apps had a widget that acted as a shortcut to a specific note (similar to the Google Drive shortcut widget that allows you to access a specific file with one tap). Go through the Add Widget process, and look through the Widget list for anything like that.
