Note pro 12.2 wont turn off properly

My note pro was turned off properly by me but the back button and the open tab buttons are still lit. I only have about 12% power left at the moment so I hope it will go off by itself. I am now worried it might not switch back on again after a full charge. Has anyone else had this problem and can it be fixed? How do I switch it off?

Welcome to Android Central! Try pressing and holding the power button for about 20 seconds--this usually forces a full power off on any Android device.

Hi Thanks I did manage to get it to restart by following the advise on another thread on here. I pressed and held the home key, volume down button and the power key, it restarted and I was able to switch off properly. I don't know what happened it seems to sometimes switch off quickly and other times slowly and now not at all. Thanks for you're advise anyway.
