Tried all day yesterday but just kept getting the "Sorry we are out of credits, try again later" message. Anyone have any info if they will be giving out more $50 credits. Purchased two Note3's about a week ago. Thanks.

For those not aware of what midcoast is referring to, see SAMSUNG - It's Now Even Easier To Switch - Welcome. I was able to get a code and redeem it yesterday morning. The rules do say that "Gifts are available on a first-come, first-served basis. A total of not more than 30,000 Gifts will be available during the Offer Period", which is Nov. 5 to Jan. 6. So two thoughts immediately come to mind: (1) they used up all 30k credit gifts already, and (2) they're spreading out the 30k gifts over 2 months. Either is possible, but the "come back later" message suggests to me that they're not out of credits. If they were, the message should be more like, "sorry, this promotion has ended". I think it's probably worth checking back periodically to see if they get more credits available. Good luck!

People were abusing it with random imei generators and selling the codes on ebay. Hence why offer was shut down.

They were all used up. Once this hit Slickdeals.net people were using IMEI generators to basically create fake GN3s. It got to the point where some users were told they already received the credit even though they were registering for the first time.

People officially suck......really is there no moral code anymore, no shame in stealing whatever you can get......just sad.

I must have got it yesterday right before it ended. I got my confirmation code after filling it out but have not got the email with the credit. I sure hope I get something since when I summitted it said still in stock. It has been almost a day though. :/

Same for me. I got the confirmation code but still no email and no credit. 😭

Posted this in the other thread but I talked to Samsung customer service on chat. They told me it is over and it doesn't matter if you have a confirmation number. I also asked about the Website saying come back later but they said they didn't have any information about that. Pretty angry right now. I could understand if it said on the website that it was over but I feel like if I got a confirmation code and they told me it was on its way that I should get it. Maybe I will call and talk to someone but I am not very mean so it probably won't work. :-(

Because of sucky people, the next offer they give (if they give one) will be much harder to obtain. If I were Sammy, I would make them register on Samsung's site first with proof of purchase, such as a code or something in the box itself. That way, they will only give out codes to registered owners that have proved the purchase. Makes sense doesn't it?

Thanks P00P eaters for doing this screwing it up for us legit owners!

I have been waiting since 10:37am yesterday and still no email and don't think we will be getting even if we did get the confirmation number. Let's face it it's been over 24 hrs for some of us if we haven't gotten it by now we won't...

i keep on getting "sorry out of credits"

Some people on slick deals stole people's IMEI numbers and used them to amass $5000+ in Google Play credits. I sincerely hope they are prosecuted, but I know they won't be.

Right! They can afford this 300+ phone but stealing 50.00 Google credit? Pathetic.

I wrote a disgruntled email which I rarely do. I am angry about the people stealing, reflects the sad state of the world, but at the same time I don't think it is OUR fault. For one thing if Samsung only had 30,000 cards, they should have only passed out 30,000 confirmation numbers. There seems to be a fair amount of us who got a confirmation number without an email. Back to what I was saying about it not being our fault.. Technically Samsung should have done a better job at preventing these thefts from happening. Those credits belonged to us, the honest customers. If I borrowed your laptop and left it carelessly laying out in public and it was stolen, yes it is the thief that did wrong, but is me that takes the blame because I should have seen that coming. I have to believe that if they would have secured this like they should have, a good number of us on the tail end of this would have our credit. Instead, they let the thieves get away with it and tell the customer who support them "tough, get over it". That just leaves a bad taste in my mouth..

They officially shut it down. All you can do is sign up for future promotions.

Is it really that easy to steal codes? This is the second forum where this was abused, the other was for a $30 Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 2014 edition.

That's why you gotta lurk in this forum every 24 to 36 hours so you don't miss nuthin! I got my credit :--)

This offer must have hit in middle of night cause I did it at 6:30 am and got my confirmation # but no email. I use to use slickdeal.com but to many thieves there now.
