Note4 screen goes dark

Have any of you experienced your screen going dark on your Note4? Not sure if it's the brightness app I use.. I uninstalled it but it still happens about once, maybe twice a week. I use Next Launcher and sometimes the launcher goes dark but the phone system settings and menus are normal. Other times when I press the button to unlock it's just a black screen, or its so dark I can't see it. I have to do a manual reboot and then it's fine. I wonder what's causing it?

Oh really? I guess I'm the only one on the planet with this issue. I feel special.

I too experience the same. I don't know what is causing the n4 to do that, but it may be related to memory loss?
