Wondering how durable the power button is....just noticed a few microscratches on it when looking at a certain angle with light..

This may sound silly, but did you remove the plastic from the fingerprint button? It's hard to see.

Most LGs have them on the fingerprint sensor. Worth a check. Try with your fingernail.
I just checked mine and if there's one there it's the best protective plastic I've ever seen or felt because it's as if it's not there. In fact I'm pretty sure it's not there lol.

Ok. Well worth a shot. I would have thought for sure the fingerprint button would have held up better than that.

If it's Gorilla Glass 5 I'm not shocked. I know the back is GG5 but they don't state what the fingerprint button has. The camera uses 4. GG5 scratches super easy which is why I'd never go without a case.

Ok good to know. My G5 and V20 did on Verizon. Flossy's G6 did.
Now that you mention flossy I do remember him saying the fingerprint reader was slow until the end of the video he came back and said he had to remove the plastic. I wonder why ours don't have the plastic.

Plastic won't make it slow... Less accurate possibly.

It really doesn't look like there is any plastic on the power button. I did see Flossy's video and that seemed to have been either an unlocked model or T-mobile.

Did anyone who purchased the Verizon version in black notice any plastic on the power button?

Corning is losing their touch it seems.
