Notification assignment issue

I've assigned my wife/contact to "12" so that both texts and calls are directed to "12."

However, I'm concerned there is a conflict or something. I've set "9" for texts from all contacts, so when my wife texts, it's not going to "12." I thought that would override since she is a specific contact assigned to "12."
