Notification bar color

A couple weeks ago I remember watching a YouTube video about htc sense 3.0. There was no commentary and I think the video was French. Anyway I remember the color of the notification bar changing several times during the video. It went from black to purple to orange if I remember right. But now I can't find the video and none of the reviews say anything about it. Does anyone remember the video and/or know if this is possible on the htc evo 3d without a root?

the notification bar changes by themes, this was introduced in sense 2.0...but you can get new themes from htc hub, but yes you do NOT need root to change notification bar colors

Actually it's the skins that change it. The two skins included with the phone, blue and burgundy, change a few colors, including the browser progress bar, but not the notification bar. The notification bar gets changed if you download two more skins from HTC Hub, one makes it look orange/brown the other a bluish purple.

oh, i guess i said it wrong that is what i ment, but i have never used a sense 2.0+ device so i thought that was the name...but in other news MANNY!!!! YOUR BACK FROM THE DEAD, find me moar videos please! and rimeras, make me a sandwich.

LOL....well Mike has beeing doing a good job of that. I had a big project at work installing a new server, so I couldn't spend as much time on the interwebs and youtube to find more videos.
