Notification Bar

I'm not sure what I've changed, if anything, but all of a sudden my notification bar disappears unless I'm in an app or have pressed the menu button. It doesn't show up in any of the home screens. Has anyone run into this or know how to fix it?

Do you have a third party launcher installed?
If so, check those settings.
